The Salvation Army has preserved its core values throughout its long history of 150 years. The first is to save the souls of people and work to transform their lives; the second is to serve neighbors with a heart of love; the third is to cultivate the next generation of leaders through education and training; and the last is to change this world into a place where justice is realized with all these ministries.
What the Salvation Army does the best is to save people. We are those who save others and this is our specialty. For this purpose, the Salvation Army has been always the first to run to every corner of the world where there were the neediest and fulfilled its mission by serving neighbors, to transform this world into a righteous society.
